First major addition to the fleet in years!
It's all go with the yachts this evening - all 14 of them - here an English crew share a glass of vin avec les Francais!
as another yella welly arrives....
and our man gets round to collect some dues!if you can make it - this Saturday sees the annual Buccas Fair - why 'bucca'? - you find out! 'Least we weren't called 'ring doves'!
Andrew Pascoe makes his way to the fish market with the day's net fish......
and dead on 7.30pm, here she comes some good news for the port.....
and a major cause for celebration today! - the biggest addition to the local fleet to arrive for years!Father Kevin, and son Mark Curtis moor up the Crystal Waters, an ex-French stern trawler lately from Kilkeel....
with a seriously spacious stern and working deck...
luxurious wheelhouse complete with bunk......and, offset to port, a massive galley and mess....where a fresh brew is made by better-half down to see the new boat....why the smiles?..... after leaving Kilkeel 36 hours ago, the guys discovered the gas bottles were both empty - no brew for over 24 hours - desperate!

Between showers.....
Grimmy takes time out from spinning yarns to the 'yella wellies' to mend his gear.......
there's a good mix of boats in the Bay with the MCA Anglian Princess back on station again......
Nathan and Quentin put their point across to the visiting group......
while the Polarfrost Seafoods' driver from Grimsby eats his chips before heading off up the A30...........
and the scalloper, Jacoba hangs his 17 dredges a side out to dry.

IoS - Pretty in Pink!
Twinkle arrives to put his trip ashore, Sunday afternoon..
while the spiders from Tom on the Huers get sorted....
....and brother Dennis heads back to tier in his punt.Down on the pontoons, 'Grimmy' Mike, in yellow wellies tells another 'yellow welly' (as fishermen affectionately refer to yachtsman in general) how the world should be!
This used to be a slip down to the beach in Newlyn, could you find it today?
10 out of 10 and kudos to the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company bringing some real pzazz to their overstay car park in Wherry Town!
