Newlyn building projects near completion

See how the experts aboard the Jannie use a springer to turn her against the quay without losing any paint!
Follow the ups and downs of Newlyn, England's largest fishing port, 80 species of premium line, trawl, net and pot caught fish and shellfish are landed daily. Top London chefs like Tom Aikens source MSC accredited Pollack, Bass, Sardines and Mackerel. Photography - digital images from stock or commissioned to order. Art students are encouraged to use the harbour as inspiration for their work as did the Newlyn School of Artists - info@newlynharbour.co.uk Laurence Hartwell

Lovely birds those Iceland Gulls. May i express the thanks of all us Cornwall Birders for allowing access to the harbour to view the birds. Paul.

Have never seen this method used at Newlyn and wondered why not. Always was used at Penzance by well known 'Cornish Wrecker' for arrival and departure, very neat and minimum of hands required.
I'll put some photos taken of odd birds that ended up on the boats at sea at times soon.
re minimum hands - efficiency is everything!
