That evening light again

The evening sunlight catches the wheelhouse of the Elizabeth Caroline PZ293....
Jersey registered Kerloch J235, seen here loaded with gear, hasn't been in Newlyn for a while....
so the gulls show an interest in her....
they don't call him Arnie for nothing - Elizabeth N skipper, Michael Nowell 'works out' before coming ashore...
gear time aboard one of the chain-harrow gang......
as the sun goes down, the lighthouse bathes in the evening glow...
still thriving despite new technology, the craftsmanship of Cyril Nicholas from Squirrel Signs is evident aboard the Achieve, traditional signwriting and lining, signmaking, portraits and murals ....
more crab coming ashore from the Intuition...
as the Emma Louise gets more of the Rowse colour scheme...
a local wag has been busy with the white paint it seems!
a rare sight, not a single boat 'on the hard'.
