A severe notherley storm blasts across Mounts bay whipping spray off the surface of the sea. During this storm the anenometer was being held at its maximum of 120mph according to the Gwennap Head coastguard when he spoke to the Rose of Sharon from the safety of the harbour. Meanwhile, a freezer trawler fished yards off the shore at St Loys inside the bay!
